Chasing a record 338-run total, England fought gallantly and shared honours with India as one of the greatest matches in ICC CWC history ended in a tie. Andrew Strauss played captain innings but at the end, the victory was under the Brits' grasp and they threw it away. The Men in Blue almost snatched victory from the jaws of defeat but in the end have to be satisfied with a tie!
